Lindos is one of the three ancient Cities of Rhodes Island. It is also the most popular selection for Cruise ship visitors and does tend to become congested during the summer months, especially in the early morning. That is why the ideal time to visit Lindos is during the early afternoon, when the sun has not just set and the atmosphere is cool.
By night-fall the village takes on a life of its own, dazzling with its lights and busy with its fun-loving people. A totally different aspect to the day-time traffic!
The tour will begin in Lindos, you are led up the hill to the Acropolis* and temple of Lyndia Athena, where you will enjoy a professional guided tour of approximately 45 minutes. We do advise you to wear good, sturdy rubber-soled shoes as the steps leading to the Acropolis are well worn and may prove to be slippery, so care must be taken.
Leaving the Acropolis, you will have free time to spend around the village’s shops and also enjoy dinner or drinks at any of the many restaurants, pubs and cafes.
The guide will advise you of the meeting point and time of departure from Lindos.
